Meteor Madness

Meteor Madness is an arcade space shooter inspired by Asteroids. Built using C# and MonoGame, the game began development as a remake of an XNA game I developed during my Bachelor’s degree. When I decided to change how the player moved in the game I spent a large amount of time researching Asteroids and that then steered development. I especially enjoyed recreating the thrusting and drifting mechanics of the spaceship.
The game was a solo effort; I relied on free and previously purchased assets for art, sound effects, and music.
